ABOUT THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB
This amazing non-profit provides targeted programs to young people who need us most. The Clubhouse environment fulfills five key elements that foster effective youth development and empower our young people to succeed:
- A Safe, Stable, Positive place that ensures physical and emotional safety
- Fun activities that foster connections to peers and staff
- Supportive Relationships that reinforce that all members are cared for
- Abundant opportunities to explore interests and build new skills
- Recognition and positive reinforcement for young people’s accomplishments
GIFT DRIVE
Throughout these experiences, we were lucky enough to get to know the kids whose lives are so drastically changing through the programs and we knew we wanted to do more to be a part of that change. Therefore, we also added a gift drive to our event with a focus on bringing just a little more joy to the kid’s hearts! Thank you to our associates, friends, and families for your help with sourcing toys!
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT!
We really wanted to give our guests an unforgettable experience. The night started by our guests enjoying a delicious seafood display, followed by a sit-down dinner while enjoying live music and sipping on specialty cocktails. Custom hand-rolled cigars were enjoyed outside while inside, our guests were treated to a magician.
Everyone was touched and inspired by the rawness and authenticity of our guest Youth speaker Grace, from the Boys and Girls Club.
The night entailed a few surprises, including a unique and delicious treat: boozy ice cream. We surprised everyone with a Latin performance and finished the night with dancing. Our guests also took home custom made panettone cakes made locally by one of our favorite bakers and a gamut of new relationships to explore for the new year!
