On Thursday, April 22nd, 2020, United Public Adjusters & Appraisers, Inc. (UPA) completed our fourth Community Comfort Mission. We provided 30 meals and 50 KN-95 masks to the NYPD Strategic Response Group’s Citywide Anti-Crime Unit!
Our team members Anthony DeLorenzo and James Southard grew up with one of the Detectives in the NYPD Citywide Anti-Crime Unit and have known him for over 15 years. United Public Adjusters & Appraiser Inc. is focused on doing our part to help essential workers that are friends, acquaintances, or unknown heroes, and we wanted to continue the missions in our local communities by donating to the NYPD Strategic Response Group’s Citywide Anti-Crime Unit.
About the NYPD Citywide Anti-Crime Unit
The Citywide Anti-Crime Unit was established in 2015 and is tasked with immediate intervention duties during periods of civil unrest, terrorist incidents, or other citywide emergencies. This Bronx, NY group is responsible for quite a few special high-profile events such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade or meetings of the United Nations General Assembly. The group patrols neighborhoods and keeps a pulse on crime when not responding to high profile events.
NYPD Citywide Anti-Crime Unit, we thank you for your impeccable service within our communities and we hope we were able to bring you some comfort with our donation. WE SALUTE YOU!
