PHILIP AND MICHAEL MALTAGHATI WERE CONTACTED BY PROPERTY OWNERS OF A LARGE MIXED-USE BUILDING consisting of 20+ residential apartments and two commercial tenants that experienced an extensive fire originating on the ground floor grocery store. Under United’s leadership, they immediately evaluated the insurance policy, property damages, and implemented a mitigation plan with the building owners to ensure there was limited business interruption. Ultimately, the tenants maintained normalcy and residency within the building while Philip and Michael processed and adjusted the loss with the insurance company, respective engineers and consultants. At no time did United Public Adjusters allow the insurance company to minimize the amount of damage owed or misinterpret the policy that was purchased for the building by the policy holder to protect the building in case of a sudden loss.
