This annual Yankees Night Out is an exciting event where these young fans have the opportunity to experience the joy and excitement of attending a professional live sporting event. The New York Yankees have supported this opportunity for Madison Square Boys and Girls Club members since 2010. At this year’s event, Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson and one of Madison’s Youth of the Year Ambassadors, Madigane N., were welcomed onto the field for the opening ceremony of the game that paid homage to the Club, the Bronx, as well as New York City.

Also in attendance were Bronx Advisory Board Vice President, Philip Maltaghati, who is also the President of United Public Adjusters & Appraisers, several Madison Square Boys & Girls Club board members, and the Club’s Executive Director, Tim McChristian. “With the help of the New York Yankees, the money raised from this event will assist to broaden the Club’s reach and create an even greater impact in the communities and lives of the young people that the Madison clubs serve daily”, Maltaghati stated. “The proceeds will be used to improve the Madison Clubhouse locations and the vital programs that each provides. This way, the Square Boys & Girls Clubs are able to continue to provide life-changing services in the under-resourced communities we serve. We invite you to join us in our efforts by donating to this worthy cause. ”

In addition to Philip Maltaghati, United Public Adjusters & Appraisers were represented by James Southard, Ryan Casali, and Joseph Maltaghati. The excitement of the game only intensified as the Yankees defeated the Kansas City Royals in the final inning by one point- 5 to 4!  With this year’s successful event behind them, the Club is already making plans for next year’s Yankees Night Out for the members of Madison Square Boys & Girls Club and their families.
