That’s why United Public Adjusters was proud to sponsor the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club’s Fore the Kids Golf Tournament at Sleepy Hollow Country Club.
Members of the UPA team, including CEO & Co-Founder Phil Maltaghati and Senior Public Adjuster Anthony DeLorenzo, were proud to attend and support an organization that provides programs, resources, and opportunities to thousands of young people throughout New York City.
Supporting Madison Square Boys & Girls Club and New York City Youth
The Fore the Kids Golf Tournament brings together businesses, community leaders, and supporters around a much bigger purpose: helping Madison Square Boys & Girls Club continue its work supporting children and teens throughout New York City.
Madison Square Boys & Girls Club has a long history of serving New York City youth and is one of the founding members of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Today, the organization serves more than 3,000 young people annually, ages 6 to 18, through Clubhouses in Harlem, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.
For many of those young people, Madison is much more than simply somewhere to go after school.
Its Clubhouses provide safe, stable, and supportive environments where young people can build meaningful relationships with mentors and peers, receive academic guidance, discover new interests, and develop skills that can help shape their futures.
That mission is what makes supporting Madison so meaningful to our team at United Public Adjusters.
Creating Opportunities That Last
Madison’s programs are built around three core outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.
Through academic enrichment, mentorship, leadership development, career and college guidance, recreation, and other programming, Madison provides New York City youth with resources and opportunities they can carry with them well beyond their time at the Club.
The impact is also about something less easily measured: belonging.
A safe place to go after school. An adult who takes an interest in your future. Someone who helps with homework. A chance to discover a talent or career path you didn’t know existed. A community that recognizes your accomplishments and encourages you to keep moving forward.
Those opportunities can have a lasting impact on a young person’s life.
