Rachel LaBuda

Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster / Office Administrator

Rachel is the newest addition to the United Public Adjusters & Appraisers, Inc. Family.

Notably, she obtained her Medical Billing and Coding Certification from accredited Branford Hall Career Institute in August of 2012. Because of her efficiency and hard work, she was promoted to a management position, which tested her responsibilities and conduct with her coworkers. With this promotion, now she was earning experience dealing with clients and patients on a one to one basis. Undeniably, it helped Rachel enhance her understanding and sensitivity to the situations they were facing.

Due to her natural empathetic nature for people, mostly when they were in a time of need, was when we truly knew Rachel would be a great asset for the firm.

Since her joining back in June 2020, Rachel has taken on many responsibilities. First off, she started with our Claim Intake, which is the first step of the process when you call 1-800-718-LOSS. Ideally, Rachel takes her time to listen to the situation while taking down every detail, notes, and essential information for our licensed public adjusters to review.

Another critical part of the claims process that Rachel works on is instructing the clients on the Recoverable Depreciation Process, if that applies to the client’s policy. Later, she goes through all the invoices and receipts that the client may need to keep track of. When repairs and contents replacement is completed, she will put together a detailed recap for the insurance company’s record to take into consideration and release those additional monies.

Surely, having Rachel on our team is a massive support to the public adjusters in our office, and she prides herself in taking your file to the next level.

Meanwhile, customer feedback is a top priority. Since we as a business strive to give you the best service possible, in return, we require your feedback to improve. Rachel takes that time to make sure every client is satisfied, and none of the concerns go unnoticed.

While in her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, which includes cooking on weekends and being outdoors as much as possible, and giving back to the community.

With all the potential and amount of effort she puts in her work, with concentration and detail, she has a lot of promise. Even though there is a long way to go, with her effort and dedication, she is heading in a great direction with United Public Adjusters & Appraisers, Inc.
